I am a Governor member of the R.N.L.I. and an active member of the
Durham branch of the organisation.
The R.N.L.I. has existed for 175 years. It receives no governmental
money, but receives all its
income from the public. Every
lifeboat station is manned by volunteers, and they are on
call
365 days every year.
You can help by giving a donation to the R.N.L.I. Either through your
local branch, or through
sending your donation to R.N.L.I. HQ.
